Here are but a few 'guidances' to not say definitions of just a few gender related terms in the niche/community.

Cross-dresser (CD)
Best describes a person who enjoys dressing in clothing appropriate for the opposite gender.  People may explore cross-dressing as a role-playing fetish (more commonly used with Transvestites), but a true cross-dresser incorporates it into his/her lifestyle whether it be publicly or privately.  Cross-dressers have no interest in changing gender or Sexual Reassignment - although it may be used to describe a Transsexual in the early stages of, or prior to , their decision to commencing transition.
